Narrative
INGHAM COUNTY, MI – Two men, ages 18 and 31, were sent to the hospital following a collision late Monday night in the Haslett area of Meridian Township.
Meridian Township Police said the 18-year-old man was outside of a car and changing a tire on Marsh Road when the vehicle was struck by another car heading northbound on the road.
The teen pedestrian was rushed to a local hospital, along with the driver, 31. As of this writing, local agencies have not released any information indicating the severity of either patient’s condition.
It’s unclear at this time exactly where the disabled vehicle was stopped in the roadway, and/or how the other vehicle ended up colliding with it. No pending charges or citations have been reported.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances behind the crash.
