Narrative
OSWOSSO, MI – A multi-vehicle collision along M-21 on the east side of Owosso fatally injured a 19-year-old man last Friday.
The accident occurred just after 10 p.m. on M-21 near North Hintz Road, which is just west of Owosso East Plaza shopping mall and northwest of Owosso Community Airport.
Police say that an eastbound Jeep collided with the victim’s Chevy Impala when as the victim turned onto the westbound side of M-21 from a private drive. A second vehicle, a westbound Chevy Silverado, then struck the Impala.
The impact of the first collision ejected the driver of the Impala. The Chevy struck the victim in the roadway on M-21. The driver of the Chevy did not stop to render aid but was apprehended and arrested shortly after the crash.
Authorities identified the victim as 19-year-old Ryan Mosher of Lansing.
It’s unclear if the driver of the Jeep sustained injuries or if they will face charges in connection to the crash.
A full investigation is underway.
