Narrative
ANN ARBOR, MI – Three young adults were injured, one critically, Saturday, March 16, due to a single-vehicle accident off Plymouth Road in Ann Arbor.
The accident occurred near the intersection with Broadway Street, prompting a response from Ann Arbor Police at around 4:00 a.m.
First responders arrived to find the car off the roadway and at rest in a nearby parking lot. A 20-year-old man who was a passenger in the vehicle was rushed to an area hospital in critical condition.
Two 19-year-old women, including the driver, were taken to a local hospital for injuries considered minor.
An investigation remains underway, but officials suspect alcohol and speed contributed to the incident.
