Narrative
WAYNE COUNTY, MI – A car collided with the back of a semi-truck Wednesday morning, August 14, near Dearborn, leaving one person with serious injuries.
The two-vehicle wreck occurred on Ford Road at Auto Club Drive, at around 6:15 a.m.
Although the events leading up to the wreck are unclear, footage captured at the scene shows the front-end of a black car seriously damaged and partially wedged behind the back tires of the truck.
Officials said one person suffered critical injuries, but no other information on their condition has been disclosed.
By 6:30 a.m., Ford Road was partially re-opened, though crews were still working to remove the wreckage from the turnaround.
No charges have been reported as of this writing.
